Hi everyone... This is my first time blogging... ever. My name is Mijal, I'm 23, a female, and love shopping =)
I hope to blog about shopping, food, and my life in general. I hope to get some readers, I love reading other people's blogs and I would think with so many bloggers out there people will hopefully be interested in mine also! Oh and by the way, look out for pictures and videos!!
I've read many short blogs as well as plenty of long ones that go on for ever... I will try to keep my blogs short, everyone of us is pretty busy these days with one thing or another. I know I am!
Why don't I tell you a little about me:
Let's see... I was born in India and moved to the US when I was 10 years old. I had difficulty adjusting to life here, it was fun and my brothers and I had a blast but we had all left our friends, family and our familiar surroundings back in India, so it was a little hard on all of us. I'm in college now and working at a part time job, I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and his brother and we are learning how to get through life, indepenently. Well let's see what else... I love shopping, but I do love saving money also... I look for bargains, sales and clearances. You won't believe all the great stuff you can find on clearance at WetSeal, my fav. clothing store!
Well, I just need to say my mom is a SUPER mom! We all had tons of help from our Uncle and Aunt, they provided us with a roof, mom with a car, and with advice on the way of life in the US.
After moving to the US, my mom went back to school and was so courageous in raising 3 kids on her own, while working a full time job. I wish I had known better in those days so I would have helped her out but basically this is how my moms day went... Get up, get the kids up, make sure they go to school, (she had just learned how to drive!) get in that car and drive to work on roads unfamiliar, be at work all day 8-5, hardly knowing what to do because she was a house-wife back in India. Then come home to hungry kids, make dinner, do the dishes, then go to night school, come back late and do homework then go to bed and do it all over again! It must have been SO difficult for her and I really wish i could have helped her out more often :(... She really was a super mom :)
